I have been lucky enough to take my love of photography to the streets of New York a few times. There is just something about this place that has me always wanting to come back. The hardworking family owned storefronts, the rawness of each city block, it all speaks the truth and emotion that I love to capture. The people of New York are truly unique and I describe this place to be a photographers playground. To me photography is an art of capturing a moment in time. A moment that will never happen quite like it did before. I always find myself sitting back, observing the pandemonium and waiting for the perfect moment to click my shutter. Through these images I hope to embody my own story of how I perceive the Empire City.
